Kats Cartridge Engine Block Heater Installation - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Speaker 1: Today in our 2012 Toyota 4-Runner we're going to be installing Kat's Heaters customer fit engine block heater. Part number KH11813.These cartridge style heaters are customer fit for your engines and just slide right into the block and transfer heat through the block to help warm up the coolant to allow for easier starting and quicker heat up times. What this means for you is you don't have to worry about difficult starts, making it for a longer time in the morning to get started or potentially miss work.This cartridge heater is designed to fit multiple make and models of Toyota vehicles. To get it to fit our 2012 V6 engine we did have to modify it slightly using a file to just make a little flat spot for it to clear one of the ears on the transmission.We're under out vehicle now, we're going to show you a typical installation. Kats Cartridge Engine Block Heater Installation - 2016 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Today on this 2016 Toyota Tacoma we're going to be installing the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater. Part number KH11813. To operate it you simply just take your extension cord, plug into your wall of your house. You're simply going to plug it in and you would just close the hood down on it. If you decide you want to run an extension cord out to the outside then you would be able to just plug it in from the outside. Always make sure that you unplug it before you start the vehicle. This is designed for cold weather climates. more

Kats Heaters Battery Thermal Wrap Installation - 2016 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be installing the Kat's Heater Battery Thermal Wrap, Part Number KH22200. The blanket's made out of a vinyl material that's going to resist oil and acid. It's going to help keep your batter insulated and heated for a longer battery life and a more efficient start. Plugged into any 120 volt grounded outlet, simple operation. You just simply plug it in to your extension cord and let it sit overnight or during the day, and it's going to keep your battery warm and make your car easier to start.
